My Ethos
Laura's Kitchen Cakery is a small home-bakery based in Keynsham, nestled between Bath and Bristol. When you order from me, you're greeted with a friendly and helpful approach that puts your needs at the centre of all I do. I will work with you to tailor a quote specific to your needs, and because I am a smaller independent business, I can give you the time and attention you might not get from a larger supplier.
I'm a local business, and I love creating homemade cakes that taste delicious and look beautiful. Wherever possible, I use Fairtrade and free-range ingredients, all of which are the finest quality. So you're not only buying a top-quality product that looks and tastes great, you are also supporting a chain of suppliers who care about their workers getting paid a fair wage for their hard work.
All of my cakes are boxed and have the option of local delivery across the wider Bath, Bristol and surrounding areas.
I am fully registered and insured, and have Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certification.

I have been baking for over ten years, and I love creating artistic cakes that not only taste great, but are beautiful to look at too. I used to be a research scientist, and I think following a recipe is a lot like experimenting in the lab - only the results tend to taste better! (Disclaimer - I do not recommend you eat your science experiments). I really enjoy the creative elements of my work, and particularly enjoy creating abstract, funky cakes covered in buttercream.
